Sony Ericsson Expo 2010 will be held at the Megatrade Hall 1, Bldg. B of SM Megamall on July 23-25, 2010. Items will be on sale up to 50% off with Zero Percent installment rates. During the event, Sony Ericsson will give away freebies and raffle prizes too. Allied Bank Credit Card holders will be receiving special giveaways in this event. There will also be live music performances by Sarah Geronimo and other Sony BMG artists.

Hmm, I wonder if they’ll slash the price off their Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. To those who are looking forward to upgrade their phones, you might want to check out the sale.

Bloggers Arvin, Jane and Berniemac Mapping Election Precincts

Philippine National Elections is one of the most crucial but anticipated events because this is the time that we, as Filipinos, can exercise our right to vote and have hope for the future of the Filipinos. We as bloggers, will not be contented to contribute our help and existence online but also offline in the offline world as well.

More than a month ago with the initiative of Google Philippines, through its country representative Aileen Apolo – De Jesus, had Google Mapping Parties happening simultaneously in different parts of the Philippines such as Metro Manila, Davao, Cebu and others. Bloggers volunteered to map election precincts around the Philippines by going to the website www.findyourprecinct.ph.

Jejemon is a trending topic in the internet. And it has become more popular that I’ve chanced upon a segment in “Unang Hirit” about jejemon. I’ve also heard that it was also featured Jessica Soho’s show in GMA-7 last Saturday.

Prior to jejemons being featured in some TV shows, it was heavily sensationalized in the internet. One great example is this photo that circulated around various social networks.

Formspring.me

The website, Formspring.me is becoming popular here in the Philippines. In Formspring, you can either create a new account or login using your Facebook credentials. This is where people can ask you questions (anonymously or not) and you can share your answers to the questions directly in Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter and Blogger.

They also have a widget that you can embed on your blog or website.

This is like Social Interview, a Facebook app wherein you will get to answer random silly questions about yourself and your friends. The difference is that, Formspring.me adds a personal touch to it because the questions come from the people you know online and IRL (in real life).

To me, Formspring.me is the new “slum book”.

The number of 3D Cinemas are increasing in the Philippines. SM IMAX Theater is the first to offer consumers with advanced cinematic 3D. Other cinemas that are offering 3D formats are:

SM Digital theater at SM Megamall
Digital Cinema at Robinsons Galleria
Digital Cinema at Trinoma
Digital Cinama at Greenbelt 3

Even though the price is higher than the rate of regular cinemas, consumers are willing to pay for it because of the great movie experience that it offers. The next milestone that we will probably wait for is the first Filipino-made movie that will be available in 3D format.
