Philippine National Elections is one of the most crucial but anticipated events because this is the time that we, as Filipinos, can exercise our right to vote and have hope for the future of the Filipinos. We as bloggers, will not be contented to contribute our help and existence online but also offline in the offline world as well.
More than a month ago with the initiative of Google Philippines, through its country representative Aileen Apolo – De Jesus, had Google Mapping Parties happening simultaneously in different parts of the Philippines such as Metro Manila, Davao, Cebu and others. Bloggers volunteered to map election precincts around the Philippines by going to the website www.findyourprecinct.ph.

Yesterday, in Manila Baywalk, we bloggers joined Rock Ed in Sunday Silence: a silent protest for a clean and safe elections. We all watched the last sunset before the day before the elections with hope that our country will be in the hands of a leader that will make a change that we deserve.
